ATLAS
Smart City Management Platform

Year
2025
Atlas is a cloud-based smart city operations platform that helps municipalities monitor, manage, and respond to infrastructure issues in real time. By combining live traffic intelligence, infrastructure monitoring, maintenance workflows, notifications, and workforce management into a single interface, Atlas enables city teams to make faster, data-driven operational decisions.
Cities often rely on multiple disconnected systems to manage transportation, infrastructure maintenance, and field operations. Traffic data, incident reports, maintenance requests, work orders, and employee scheduling are frequently spread across different software, making it difficult for operators to maintain situational awareness and respond quickly.
Atlas was designed to centralize these operations into a single intelligent platform.
The project involved redesigning several mission-critical dashboards used daily by municipal operators, including Live Traffic Monitoring, Infrastructure Health, Notifications, Scheduling, Traffic Analytics, and Intersection Management.
A major design challenge was balancing large volumes of real-time information without overwhelming users. Every screen was restructured around a simple operational workflow: identify an issue, understand its impact, assign a response, and monitor resolution.
Interactive maps became the primary navigation layer, allowing operators to visualize incidents geographically while contextual panels surfaced only the information required for immediate decision-making. Complex datasets were simplified into actionable insights through clear hierarchy, progressive disclosure, and task-oriented layouts.
The final experience reduced cognitive load while improving operational efficiency, enabling city teams to detect problems earlier, coordinate field staff more effectively, and manage infrastructure from a single unified interface.
