By combining intelligent threat detection, live campus monitoring, emergency communication, and guided response workflows into a single ecosystem, HAVEN enables administrators, teachers, and security personnel to coordinate quickly and confidently during high-pressure situations.
School emergencies demand immediate coordination, yet many campuses still rely on fragmented communication systems, manual accountability processes, and disconnected security tools. During an active incident, administrators need instant visibility, teachers require clear instructions, and responders must understand exactly what is happening across campus all within seconds.
HAVEN was designed to unify every critical emergency response workflow into a single intelligent platform.
The project focused on designing an end-to-end emergency management experience that combines AI-powered threat detection, live campus mapping, emergency communication channels, classroom safety protocols, CCTV verification, staff accountability, and incident monitoring. One of the primary design challenges was presenting large amounts of high-priority information without overwhelming users during extremely stressful situations.
The experience prioritizes clarity over complexity. AI-generated alerts provide immediate context, interactive campus maps visualize active danger zones and safe areas, emergency chat channels keep administrators and teachers synchronized, while guided safety protocols walk staff through each required action.
